Position - Curator
Curator of Asian Art
The Harvard University Art Museums seek a full-time curator or associate curator. Responsible for the care, documentation, research, presentation, publication, and growth of the collection of Japanese art at HUAM and for assistance with other areas of the large and broad-ranging Asian collections. Basic Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent in art history or related discipline (or expected); expertise in Japanese art, preferably in painting, calligraphy, and ukiyo-e and modern woodblock prints; 3-6 years progressively responsible related experience, including curatorial experience. Note: There is only one job opening. Curatorial rank and salary grade will be determined by the experience and qualifications of the final candidate.
